About Me

Michael-Richard Aguero

I am a self taught pencil artist born in West Texas. I started drawing at my grandmother's house as a child. Grandma would always doodle beautiful portaits while talking on the phone and I was her biggest fan.

As a child, I was curious yet inspired by the simple drawings of my elder high school cousins. They taught me "artsy" things like shading and proportion. Their drawings of anything from animals to cars to portraits always fascinated me. I had discovered a hobby that was fun and spent many weekends drawing.

I took my very first art class in junior high. I could have stayed in that room the whole school day! When I reached high school I jumped right in the "ART 101"class for a richer experience.

Today, I remain faithful to my art...or more specifically, people's faces and even pets. I am a father of two, Aimee Gabrielle and Michael Angelo.

I am now at your service to create that special gift for those you love and care about!
